Disability Price Tag
Extra costs represent the additional amount of money a disabled household would need to have the same standard of living of a non-disabled household. This figure is Scope's own calculations based on Family Resources Survey 2022/2023 and is a regional price tag figure.
Disability Employment Gap
The disability employment gap is calculated as the difference between the employment rates of working age (16 to 64 years) disabled people and non-disabled people. The figure is displayed as a % point difference. The figure is calculated by UK Parliament Constituency from the Annual Population Survey from January – December 2023.
Disability is measured using the Equality Act 2010 core definition.
An asterisk ( *) indicates the figure is a regional figure and not a constituency one.
